Wuyi Rock Tea: Eight History Yanbian, One Life Rock Bone Flower Fragrance
Wuyi Mountain - the hometown of oolong tea and black tea, has a long history of tea cultivation. For thousands of years, the ancestors of Wuyi have used their diligence and wisdom to create Wuyi tea with excellent quality and various types. Historical evolution of Wuyi rock tea
Wuyi tea has been spread for more than 2,000 years.
Before the Yuan Dynasty, Wuyi tea mainly produced dough cake tea and steamed green and sun-dried green loose tea; in the Ming Dynasty, fried green tea appeared; in the early Qing Dynasty, oolong tea (rock tea), black tea, and longxu tea were developed. Wuyi Mountain is the birthplace of oolong tea and black tea.

Han Dynasty
In 110 BC, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent troops to destroy the Minyue Kingdom, and ordered the Minyue people to be moved to the Jianghuai area to make up for the loss of their land. Local officials presented Wuyi tea to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and Wuyi tea began to be paid as tribute. However, there is no record of tea production in Wuyi Mountain in the Han Dynasty in historical records.
