On the 21st, reporters learned from the Kunming Tea Industry Association that overall, the quality and sales of Pu'er spring tea this year were slightly affected by the weather, but the output and price were greatly affected.

Liu Yicheng, president of the Kunming Tea Industry Association, told reporters that the continuous high temperature has caused uneven quality of tea leaves in major tea areas. Overall, the quality of tea leaves in 70% of the tea areas is improving, and the quality of tea in 30% of the tea areas is declining. According to incomplete statistics, the output of spring tea this year has dropped by 20% compared yuan/kg. Yuan/kg, this year’s price reaches 11,000-12,000 yuan/kg; last year’s royal tribute tea Mansong, which cost 6,000-7,500 yuan/kg, this year’s price reaches 8,000-9,000 yuan/kg.

During the interview, Ms. Li, a tea farmer at Wengji Ancient Village in Jingmai Mountain, Pu'er City, said that this year's spring tea has a stronger taste and aroma.
