This project uses biological enzymes related to type 2 diabetes as an efficient screening model to study the inhibitory effect and mechanism of Pu'er tea on this biological enzyme, and uses diabetic animal models to study the blood sugar-lowering function of Pu'er tea. Studies have found that Pu'er tea can significantly inhibit diabetes-related biological enzymes. Ripe Pu'er tea produced from Yunnan large-leaf species, and solid instant Pu'er tea powder refined through modern biological fermentation technology and modern extraction technology, can inhibit diabetes-related biological enzymes by more than 90%. In the experience of Pu'er tea among 120 diabetic patients, it was found that 70% of the patients who were severely resistant to insulin injections and oral hypoglycemic drugs and drank a certain amount of Pu'er tea without stopping taking the drugs and changing their eating habits saw their blood sugar drop to less than 7mmol/L, and their blood sugar levels dropped by an average of 35%. Among them, 40% of type 2 diabetic patients who drank Pu'er tea had their blood sugar levels reduced to normal values, while the blood sugar levels of normal people who participated in the experience did not change.
It can be seen that it is true that drinking more Pu'er tea is good for diabetics, but it must be consumed scientifically. Only drinking Pu'er tea reasonably can help prevent or assist in the treatment of type 2 diabetes and reduce complications caused by diabetes.
